On the Takoradi-based radio program Power Sport with host Sampson Abban (SHAMMO), Coach Boniface Ayipah talked about his decision to join Skyy fc and the forthcoming Division One Zone Two League season.

He claimed that Skyy FC signed him in order to aid them in accomplishing their goal of playing in the Premier League the following season. He also said that there were so many teams after him, but he chose Skyy fc because of their style and how they play.
Skyy Fc appointed Coach Boniface Ayipah on 7th July 2023 as their head coach after helping Nsoatreman Fc to qualify for the Betpawa Ghana Premier League.

He said that Division 1 Zone Two is difficult and challenging, and he can witness to the fact that he is quite experienced having coached teams like Pacific Hereos and Hasaacas.

He reiterated that he wants to sign Paul Aidoo because of his maturity and experience, but despite the fact that Paul is under contract to another team, he will take all necessary steps to get his signature for Skyy Fc.

The coach of division one, Giant Skyy FC, Boniface Ayipah, confirmed that their main player will join the premier League side after the Division One Super Cup, which is currently taking place in Kumasi.

He said Baba’s departure is a problem, but they were aware that he wouldn’t play for Skyy FC in the upcoming campaign, so the team made plans to find a replacement.

BABA has scored three goals in the current DOL Super Cup, indicating that he is taking advantage of the opportunities that are presented to him, in contrast to the team’s tendency to waste more chances in front of goal.

He stated that since Baba was the top scorer in the last years’ Division One League, his team must improve on overall goal scoring in his absence and stop depending on him.

Baba will sign a three-year contract with Samartex after the Super Cup.
