The 2023 GFA Election Timetable has been delayed by the Ghana Football Association.
This comes after Division One League Zone 2 club King Faisal FC requested an injunction at the High Court.
As a result, the 2023 GFA Elections process has been suspended until the motion’s hearing on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. The GFA wishes to inform all of its members and stakeholders of this suspension, particularly the Applicants who have submitted their Nomination Forms for various positions.
Due to this, the Elections Committee’s decision-making process after screening the applicants has been suspended.
The Association desires to remind all applicants, groups, and members to keep their composure. The Association will make every effort to pursue the relevant legal remedies for the speedy restoration of the 2023 Election Timetable and to prevent further disruptions of the schedule.
