Premier League Fixtures for 2024/25 Season Confirmed

The Premier League has officially announced the fixtures for the 2024/25 season, with defending champions Manchester City set to begin their title defense with a high-stakes away match against Chelsea.

In a thrilling end to the previous season, City edged out Arsenal in a tight title race, setting the stage for an exciting new campaign. On the first weekend, Pep Guardiola’s squad will face a tough challenge at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea, promising an electrifying start to the season.

Arsenal, who narrowly missed out on the title last season, will kick off their campaign at home against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Meanwhile, Manchester United will host Fulham at Old Trafford in the opening game of the season on Friday night, providing an early test for Erik ten Hag’s men.

Liverpool, under new manager Arne Slot, will start their season with an away match against newly promoted Ipswich Town. Newcastle United will entertain Southampton at St James’ Park, while Everton will face Brighton & Hove Albion at Goodison Park.

Other fixtures include Nottingham Forest hosting Bournemouth, West Ham United taking on Aston Villa, and Brentford playing Crystal Palace at the Gtech Community Stadium. Tottenham Hotspur will close out the first round of fixtures with a Monday night game against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

Key fixtures to look forward to include Manchester United against Liverpool at Old Trafford at the end of August, the first North London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham on September 14, and the Merseyside derby on December 7. The first Manchester derby of the season is scheduled for December 14, with City hosting United.

The final day of the season promises dramatic conclusions, with Arsenal traveling to Southampton, Manchester City visiting Fulham, Liverpool hosting Crystal Palace, and Manchester United welcoming Aston Villa.
