The Premier League has officially announced the fixtures for the 2024/25 season, with defending champions Manchester City set to begin their title defense with a high-stakes away match against Chelsea.
In a thrilling end to the previous season, City edged out Arsenal in a tight title race, setting the stage for an exciting new campaign. On the first weekend, Pep Guardiola’s squad will face a tough challenge at Stamford Bridge against Chelsea, promising an electrifying start to the season.
Arsenal, who narrowly missed out on the title last season, will kick off their campaign at home against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Meanwhile, Manchester United will host Fulham at Old Trafford in the opening game of the season on Friday night, providing an early test for Erik ten Hag’s men.

The first Manchester derby of the season is scheduled for December 14, with City hosting United.
The final day of the season promises dramatic conclusions, with Arsenal traveling to Southampton, Manchester City visiting Fulham, Liverpool hosting Crystal Palace, and Manchester United welcoming Aston Villa. Ipswich Town will play West Ham United at Portman Road, while Championship winners Leicester City will face Bournemouth on the south coast.
