Czech Republic–based striker Prince Kwabena Adu, Medeama SC winger Kelvin Nkrumah, and CF Montreal forward Prince Osei Owusu have all been included in the squad as Ghana steps up preparations for next year’s competitive fixtures.

Former Bechem United forward Prince Kwabena Adu has been in fine form in the Czech Republic, impressing with his consistency and attacking output. His performances have earned him a chance to stake a claim for a permanent spot in Otto Addo’s setup.

Meanwhile, Prince Osei Owusu — currently with CF Montreal in Major League Soccer — is another exciting addition. The 28-year-old striker, born in Wertheim, Germany, is a graduate of the VfB Stuttgart academy. He later featured for TSG Hoffenheim, Arminia Bielefeld, and TSV 1860 Munich, before making his mark in North America.

Owusu, who netted nine goals in 31 games for Toronto FC before moving to Montreal, has been on the radar of Ghana’s technical team due to his consistent club performances and experience across top leagues.

Also earning his first international call-up is Kelvin Nkrumah, the in-form winger from Medeama SC. The 21-year-old has been one of the standout performers in the Ghana Premier League, helping his side climb to second on the table with a string of eye-catching displays.

Coach Otto Addo and his technical team are expected to hold their first training session in Nagoya on Wednesday, as the Black Stars prepare to face Japan in the 2025 Kirin Cup on Friday, November 14, before taking on South Koreadays later.
