Basake Holy Stars are brimming with confidence as they prepare to take on Kumasi Asante Kotoko this Sunday at Aiyinase.
The club’s Communication Director, Alfred Takyi Mensah, speaking on Space FM 87.7 in Tarkwa, boldly asserted that Kotoko’s unbeaten start to the season will come to an end in Aiyinase, citing Kotoko’s vulnerabilities and Holy Stars’ commitment to bounce back after their recent home loss to Medeama SC.
“We became complacent after our opening win against Hearts of Oak, which led to our recent dip in form,” Alfredo stated.
“But we’re ready for Kotoko. Coach Abdulai Gazale knows the strengths and weaknesses of many of their players, and we intend to capitalize on that to secure all three points.”
Alfredo went on to guarantee fans that Basake Holy Stars will score in the first half and assured supporters that they are determined to turn Aiyinase into a fortress for the remainder of the season.
The club announced ticket prices for Sunday’s game, with the Popular and Center Line stands at 50 cedis and VIP access at 100 cedis.
All eyes will be on Aiyinase this weekend as Basake Holy Stars look to break Kotoko’s unbeaten run in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.
