Court of Arbitration for Sport ( CAS ) have nullified Ghana Football Association’s appeals committee decision to ban some players alleged to be involved in Ashanti Gold SC and Inter Allies match fixing scandal.
The sanctions imposed on Inter Allies and Ashanti Gold SC players by GFA is now annulled. The players were punished by the Ghana Football Association for several months. Famous among the list, is Richard Lamptey, Hashmin Musah, Fard Ibrahim, Banahene, Empem DaCosta, Eric Esso and Seth Osei .
The ruling has directed the Ghana Football Association to pay the arbitration costs.
