Independent Presidential Candidate George Twum-Barimah-Adu has called on Ghanaians to elect leaders who prioritize the nation’s transformation over personal interests.
He made this appeal after submitting his nomination forms to the Electoral Commission on September 9, 2024, to contest the 2024 Presidential Election.
Twum-Barimah-Adu emphasized the need for leaders with transformative vision, capabilities, and boldness, qualities he believes he embodies. He urged citizens to choose leaders who can unlock Ghana’s full potential for the benefit of all, rather than those driven by partisan or parochial interests.
He also advocated for a change in terminology, suggesting that all presidential aspirants be referred to simply as “Presidential Candidates,” rather than “Independent Presidential Candidates.”
As one of the dozens of individuals running without party affiliation in the December 7th presidential election, Twum-Barimah-Adu aims to break the dominance of the two major parties, NDC and NPP, in Ghana’s 4th Republic.
The tech entrepreneur promises to bring common prosperity to all Ghanaians if elected President.
