While many individuals, especially those who are just starting out, may be envious of her accomplishments and everything that she has accomplished so far, the Onua TV host has stated that it was not as simple as many people today perceive it to be.

On Tuesday, August 15, 2023, during a celebration of her 46th birthday, Nana Ama Mcbrown gave gifts and other financial contributions to the Bekwai Municipal Hospital. She also gave advice to all the people who look up to her, telling them to relax and realize that success in the field requires a lot of time and patience.

She admitted that there was a moment in 2007 when she locked herself in a room and sobbed vehemently all day long since the directors were not casting her in any movies.

The famous actress continued, saying that because it was such a trying moment for her, this was a time she could never forget.

She received a call about a deal from well-known media figure Hammer Nti, who works with Pure FM in Kumasi, during that time of sorrow and anguish, and it completely transformed her life.

Mcbrown revealed that the aforementioned contract was the enticing one she struck with the hair cream company BO-16, which resulted in her images being plastered all across the country on huge billboards despite the fact that film producers refused to let her appear on movie posters.
