Ghanaian football has been thrown into mourning following the passing of veteran coach Annor Walker after a short illness.
Walker, who served Ghana football with distinction at both club and national level, was until his demise the Technical Director of Vision FC.
He will be remembered for his immense contribution to the game, having managed top-flight clubs including Accra Great Olympics and FC Samartex, where he left an indelible mark with his tactical brilliance and ability to nurture young talent.
On the national scene, Annor Walker guided the Black Galaxies, Ghana’s home-based national team, and played a crucial role in building a competitive squad that represented the country in continental tournaments.
