George Afriyie, a former vice president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has sought a court injunction to prevent the upcoming elections for the association.
The GFA elections committee prohibited Mr. Afriyie from running in the elections set for Tamale on October 5, 2023.
A few days ago, the astute football executive who was running for the GFA presidency had his appeal rejected.
Mr. Afriyie has obtained a court order preventing the much-discussed GFA elections from taking place until his case has been resolved completely.
