The President of Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has made a huge promise to the second-tier clubs in Ghana ahead of next GFA elections. The association is expected to hold elections later this year as the regulations demands every for years.
On Monday, July 10, 2023 football owners and club administrators conveyed at the KNUST Great Hall for the GFA’s 29th Ordinary Congress as per the GFA revised regulations and status quo approves that it’s held after every season to deliberate on matters of their competitions and Association before ushering in a new season.
At the events, he promised of supporting the lower-tier club with incentives to help their course in the 2023-24 league season. He added that, he will give boots to all Division One League teams next season and beyond
“Each Division One League club will receive GH¢80,000 next season as incentives, for the course of the league and also make sure the league develop to the level we all wants”.
