Ghanaian Football Star Janet Egyir Celebrates Birthday with Egyam Children’s Home

Renowned Ghanaian footballer Janet Egyir, known for her stellar performances on the field, showcased her compassionate side as she celebrated her birthday in a heartwarming manner.

Despite being away from Ghana due to her commitments with Israeli Women’s Premier League club Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem FC, Egyir made sure to mark her special day in a meaningful way.

On the occasion of her birthday on May 7th, 2024, Janet Egyir chose to spread joy and make a difference by visiting the Egyam Children’s Home. With a heart full of generosity and kindness, she arrived at the home bearing gifts and donations for the children.

Accompanied by her team, Egyir presented the children with essential items such as toiletries, rice, soft drinks, and other necessities. Her thoughtful gesture brought smiles to the faces of the young residents, who were thrilled to receive the gifts.

Sister Mary, representing the Egyam Children’s Home, graciously accepted the donations on behalf of the children.

Expressing gratitude to Janet Egyir for her kindness, Sister Mary highlighted the numerous challenges faced by the home, including education, logistics, infrastructure, and financial constraints. She also mentioned the pressing need for a vehicle to facilitate the transportation of the children.
