The Municipal Chief Executive for Ahanta West Municipal, Hon John Agyare has donated a set of jersey and an unknown amount to the organizers of this year’s Women’s Division One Middle League. The jersey is to be given to the regional champions.
He had already donated a set of jersey to Ahantaman Ladies and one thousand Ghana cedis to support their course of being host and win.
The middle league, which commenced on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, entered day two today.
Honorable John Agyare thanked the organizers for bringing this special event to his municipality and vowed to support to make it memorable one.
The current MCE, who is vying to become the next New Patriotic Party(NPP) Parliamentary Candidate, also said his office is ever ready to support Ahantaman Ladies wherever they go.
Games continue on Friday, June 16, and Brightsam Ladies will host Hassport Ladies to decide who makes to the next stage, while Ahantaman Ladies needs a draw to make it to the next stage .
