Popular Ghanaian socialite Efia Odo has finally spoken out about the recent altercation that took place at the Achimota Mall between actor Dr. Likee and several security staff.
Efia Odo, speaking out about the controversy for the first time, revealed that the crew led by Dr. Likee had obtained authorization, according to the information she received before they went there to shoot.
Before they arrived at the location, she said Dr. Likee gave her this information, according to Nana Romeo of Accra FM. However, it seemed as though the individuals who had given them permission to do the shoot there were not available when they arrived, which ultimately led to the misunderstanding.
Efia Odo continued, “Things were fairly calm until one of the mall security guards suggested that he was going to break their cameras if they did not leave the area. This remark caused Dr. Likee to flare up and react in that enraged manner which was captured in the videos seen on social media.
It should be mentioned that on Sunday, June 11, Dr. Likee aka Aka Ebenezer and his group apologized in front of the Achimota Mall administration in Accra as well as their supporters all over the world.
They consider the situation to be regretful. They wished for peace in a brief news release.
“A video that is becoming viral on social media has caught our eye. On June 8, 2023, a confrontation took place between the Ras Nene team and Achimota Mall security. The management of the mall and its throngs of supporters would like Team Ras Nene to sincerely apologize for this terrible occurrence. Our goal is still to amuse Ghanaians. Ghana belongs to all of us, and in order to appreciate our motherland, we need peace and love. All Ghanaians may live in peace, the statement wished.
