Ghanaian football coach, Prosper Narteh-Ogum makes U-TURN to Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC after snubbing Hearts of Oak SC.
The Giant’s Asante Kotoko SC who were without a substantive head coach after parting ways with Seydou Zerbo in the course of their 2022-23 campaign, has finally settled on their former manager Prosper Narteh Ogum. Ogum returns to the club after 11-months departure, where he won the league title for them.
Prosper Narteh led the Reds to their record (25) Premier league title in 2021-22 but left after failing to reach agreement with the then Management of the club led by Nana Yaw Amponsah.
He’s been appointed to lead the Porcupine Warriors as head coach following the formation of a four-member Interim Management Committee. Narteh Ogum has made a sensational U-turn to the side and expected to lead them for the upcoming 2023-24 campaign.
Meanwhile, former Ghana national team coach James AKwesi Appiah will be the technical director for the new technical team yet to be formed.
However, the Interim Management Committee (IMC) are; Nana Aprinkra Akwasi Awuah, James Akwesi Appiah, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum and Emmanuel Daseberi.
