Basiktas has officially announced the signing of Ghana international Daniel Amartey, following a successful agreement. He joins Besiktas on a three-year deal on a free transfer.
The defender moves to the Turkish top-flight after a seven-year spell in England with Leicester City, where he won the Premiership title and FA Cup.
The Turkish giants Besiktas finalized the signing of the center-back as they prepare for the 2023-24 season.
Following his arrival in Turkey on Friday, Amartey successfully underwent all mandatory procedures, including a medical examination, and has now become Basiktas defender.
Amartey will wear the jersey number 12.
He now joins compatriot and Black Stars teammate Alexander Djiku who has also joined the Turkish top-flight from Strasbourg. Now Fenerbahçe player after signing a three-year contract.
