Award-winning Highlife musician, George Kwabena Adu, popularly known as Kwabena Kwabena, has made known in an interview on Peace FM, why he is currently offering a Bachelor of Science in Marketing course at the University of Professional Studies Accra, UPSA.
According to the “Asor” hit singer, it is important because it will help him gain a conceptual understanding since he already has the practical experience in the marketing terrain, artistically and musically.
Replying to a query as you why he has gone to study despite all the fame and riches, he noted;
“I am already in the marketing field as artiste. Considering my many years of experience and exploits in the industry, It will be prudent for me to have the theoretical knowledge of what I am doing”.
In addition, he disclosed that he has an ambition of developing, marketing and projecting artistes in the near future.
“And then again too, I have the vision to groom, market and put artiste out there. So I need to have a vivid understanding about Marketing”.
Also, Kwabena Kwabena mentioned that, however, no matter ones status in life, one can go to school.
“Humans must come to the understanding that we don’t go to school to acquire wealth but to acquire knowledge and this can help to discover your talent. Therefore, it doesn’t matter your status you can go to school”.
