Mas-ud Didi Dramani has been confirmed to continue as the head coach of the Black Galaxies.
Taking over from Annor Walker in September last year, Didi Dramani brings a wealth of experience and a storied history of success to the role.
The former Black Stars assistant coach, currently affiliated with the Right To Dream Academy, is set to assemble a formidable squad for the upcoming Championship of African Nations (CHAN) tournament.
With a reputation for nurturing talent and achieving notable success, Didi Dramani’s return to the helm signals an optimistic phase for Ghana’s football development.
Having led Ghana to a Bronze victory at the 2012 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup and securing a domestic double (Ghana Premier League and MTN FA Cup) with Asante Kotoko in 2014, Didi Dramani’s coaching pedigree is well-established.
His recent contributions as an assistant coach in guiding Ghana to qualify for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and the Africa Cup of Nations in Cote D’Ivoire further solidify his credentials.
The coaching team for the Black Galaxies will see Didi Dramani assisted by former Medeama SC and Accra Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu, as well as Baba Nuhu of Pearl Pia Ladies.
The combination of experience, tactical acumen, and a commitment to nurturing emerging talents positions the coaching trio as a formidable force in steering Ghana’s CHAN aspirations.
With Ghana seeking redemption after a quarter-final exit in the last CHAN edition in Algeria, the coaching team faces the challenge of guiding the Black Galaxies to a successful campaign in the upcoming tournament.
As the nation rallies behind their team, the return of Mas-ud Didi Dramani sets the stage for an exciting chapter in the journey of Ghanaian football on the continental stage.
