Audio streaming platform, Boomplay, has awarded Ghanaian artiste, Lasmid, for gaining 50M total streams on the digital platform.
He also received another plaque for gaining 30M streams for his hit song, “Friday Night”.

This comes as a big feat considering his presence was just noticed in the music space in 2019 and has less than ten songs to his name. He’s best known for his mega hit “Friday Night” which was released in 2022.
Lasmid, who hails from Takoradi, Western Region, won the season 8 competition of MTN HITMAKER in 2019, and got signed by music producer, Kaywa, to his record label, Highly Spiritual Music. He has songs like Atele, Odo brassband ft Kofi Kinaata, Running, Sika, Sika rmx ft Kuami Eugene & Father ft Mr Drew
