For the friendly matches against Mexico and the United States of America, Mohammed Kudus has joined the Black Stars team in Charlotte.
Prior to the two games, the West Ham United player who arrived on Wednesday morning trained with the rest of the team in the evening.
Jerome Opoku, a player for Istanbul Başakşehir of the Super Lig, who is based in Turkey, will also be joining the team. The two new players boost the total to 21 as Ghana gets ready to meet Mexico, the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup champions, on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Bank of America stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Later, on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee, the Black Stats will square off against the United States of America.
In preparation for the team’s opening match against Mexico on Saturday, October 14, 2023, the players held their second practice at the Charlotte FC facilities.
The two games will be used by head coach Chris Hughton to evaluate his squad ahead of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers next month.
