The wife of Medikal, Fella Makafui, has commented on the recent viral video that showed Michy, the mother of Shatta Wale’s son, and Medikal arguing angrily.
The incident happened after Michy and Medikal argued over claims that Shatta Wale is still covering their son’s tuition even though they are no longer together.
Fella Makafui expressed her displeasure by saying, “I kind of felt disappointed with Shatta Michy’s behavior, but I mean, it is what it is.”
The actress made it clear in an interview that she wasn’t there when the altercation at the event happened. Instead, she said that she had met Etty Bedi, a Yolo actress, and had been taking pictures with her at the time.
We were together there, but I met Etty Bedi and we were chatting when it happened, so I wasn’t there. My husband immediately joined us when our manager ordered us to go, so they were filling me in on it while we were in the car, she said.
“Since I wasn’t there, I can’t tell what I would have done, but I’d have stood up for my husband though not literally, since I’m not that way. They should handle that,” she said, pointing.
The entrepreneur said that it was not her place to get involved, but if it had been necessary, she would have defended her husband. When questioned if she would have behaved differently if she had been there.
At the Ghanaian entertainment blogger GH Kweku’s birthday celebration in April, Michy and Medikal got into a fight.
Michy misinterpreted Medikal’s claimed comments about Shatta Wale as being directed at her son rather than Shatta Wale’s daughter, which led to the conflict. Due to this miscommunication, Michy confronted Medikal in front of everyone, charging him with disseminating untrue information.
Michy stated during an interview on Adom TV’s Andy Dosty show that she had no remorse about the incident and that she would act the same way in a similar circumstance in the future. She emphasized that she did not physically harm Medikal but rather verbally complained about him, saying that occasionally she needed to let out her frustration.
Michy blamed Medikal for the situation, stating that he had no business talking about her personal affairs involving Shatta Wale and their son. Although Michy acknowledged that talking about her son is not entirely off-limits, she urged a certain level of maturity and respect when having these kind of conversations.
