A teenage farmer was allegedly discovered having sex with a female goat in Kentey in the Nkwanta South Municipality of the Oti Region.
The proprietors of the goat suspected the 23-year-old Kwaku Atta, who was reported to the police on March 20, 2023, by the Nkwanta South Divisional Command.
Their suspicion that someone had been having sex with their pet was validated during one of the dubious excursions.
According to an Adomnews report, one of the goats had to be poisoned to death by its owners because Kwaku was frequently having sex with it.
Ndebechie Atta, the mother of the suspect, acknowledged that her son had been caught in the act, but she argued that he had been wrongly accused because there was no solid proof.
The suspects will be accused with having knowledge of unnatural canals, according to the police.
However, the suspect has been given bail to enable for more thorough investigations.
