Ghanaian artiste, Skrewfaze, has recounted on how some guys poisoned his drink after a basketball game in the last weekend of February 2023.
He earlier revealed in a post on Facebook with picture of the said poison in a white handkerchief.
The “Gbalagazaa” hitmaker made this known in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM on Monday, February 27, 2023.
“I went to play basketball, so after that, I went to my usual joint(spot) with my nose mask on to disguise myself because I’m the solo type. I bought my drink and poured half into the glass, there came four guys hailing me. I wasn’t cool with it but I couldn’t ignore them too so they came and sat with me. We started talking and they started hailing my new song “Downfall”. All of a sudden I heard there was a fracas between one guy and the kebab guy, so one of the four guys called out the guy hassling with the kebab guy. It got my attention and I turned to have a quick look and that was all it took. When I turned again, I saw my drink was fizzy. I tried to take in some and one of the guys asked me to relax, so to me I felt they wanted whatever they put in to dissolve. So I took my bottle and glass and told them I wanted to use the washroom. When I got to washroom, I poured down the drink and was leaving but on a second thought, I decided to go back and check what was in, and I found there was a substance in there. So I took it and wanted to return and ask who amongst them did such thing but when I got back, they were all gone”, he said.
