Swedru All Blacks United Football Club has been hit by tragedy following the passing of their head coach, Felix Tamakloe.
The coach, who was guiding his team to an impressive start in the ongoing Division One League, passed away after suffering a mild stroke during their match against Future Stars two weeks ago.
He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he remained under medical care, but was confirmed dead this morning in Accra.
Tamakloe, who joined Swedru All Blacks this season, had a remarkable career, most notably leading SKYY Football Club to a 4th-place finish in the 2023/2024 Access Bank Division One League.
Under his leadership, Swedru All Blacks had surged to the top of the Zone Two table, amassing 10 points from four games, with an impressive tally of 15 goals, remaining unbeaten.
His sudden demise is a significant loss to the club and the football fraternity. Tamakloe will be remembered not only for his coaching brilliance but for the positive impact he made on his players and the teams he guided.
The football community mourns the loss of a dedicated and talented coach.
