Swedru All Blacks United Football Club has officially confirmed the passing of their head coach, Felix Tamakloe.
The announcement, made by the club’s Brands & Communications Manager, Nathaniel Obeng, expressed deep sorrow over the loss of a beloved figure within the football community.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Coach Felix Tamakloe,” the statement read. “Coach Tamakloe passed away on October 21, 2024, at 37 Military Hospital in Accra. Details about the funeral will be announced subsequently.”
Coach Tamakloe’s impact on the club was significant; he led Swedru All Blacks to the top of the Zone Two table in the ongoing Division One League, accumulating 10 points and scoring 15 goals in just four matches, maintaining an unbeaten record.
His leadership and dedication to the game inspired players and staff alike, and his loss will be felt deeply.
