The seventeen (17) year old schoolgirl by name Whitney Koomson or Maame Ama, A.K.A Adepa, who was reported missing in Takoradi since Monday, August 28, 2023, according to her father has been found.
Adepa attends Nsein Senior High School and a form 2 student.
His dad narrated to Sstvgh.com how his daughter was found;
Her dad said, in all honesty, this became heavily spiritual.”
On the other hand, it was purported that it could be more spiritual than physical upon consulting pastors and spiritualist.
He said people who first saw her in Takoradi told us that she appeared to be lacking in self-awareness, as if she had lost her memory.
So we sought advice from others, and as Africans, when these things happen, we go in a spiritual direction. We were informed that it was indeed the case and that some bad people have taken advantage of the situation by taking her to Swedru for ritual purposes.
He said he was instructed to perform some rituals to his palace gods in his hometown to protect her from harm. “I performed as instructed. The same day, in the evening, she was discovered”
So due to the protection Adepa had from the family deity, the ritualist performances and incantations proved fruitless. As a result, she was taken to Kasoa and dumped somewhere.
He stated that yesterday, Monday, 4th September 2023, when one of her uncles, who was driving, spotted someone who resembled her niece exactly, he sped off after her. As he came closer, he realized that the person was actually her, and he called her mother to let her know. She was under the Kasoa Overhead Bridge.
The father confirmed she heard Adepa’s voice when they were asking her questions and truly, it’s her, so they’re going to pick her up today Tuesday 5th September 2023, and take her to the hospital for forensic examination.
