UD Almeria bid for Ghana midfielder Baba Iddrisu

Spanish club, UD Almeria have engaged RCD Mallorca for the services of their midfielder Iddrisu Baba. The Spanish club have made an enquiry on him for their upcoming league season.

After finishing 17th in the 2022-23 Spanish Laliga Santander, are bent on augmenting their squad for a better campaign, asuch spotted Ghana international Baba Iddrisu to improve their midfield department.

Baba, 26, has been on the radar of UD Almeria since January transfer and this time around made a step towards snatching him from Spanish rivals Real Mallorca.

Almeria have started negotiating with Mallorca for Iddrisu Baba. It is believed the final price can be around €6 million.

A two-year contract is expected to be offered to the lanky midfielder.

The Black Stars midfielder due to injury last season, managed 29 games in the league for RCD Mallorca

Baba,27, will be ending his long term stint with RCD Mallorca should both parties reach an agreement this summer. He joined RCD Mallorca youth team in 2014 from Leganes U19, where he gradually rose through the ranks from Mallorca B to the first team in 2019 having had multiples of loan spells.

His nine years spell will come to an end.
