The Joy Sports team at the Multimedia Group has welcomed a seasoned broadcast journalist, Victor Atsu Tamakloe, as their latest addition.

Atsu Tamakloe, previously the Sports Editor at Asaase Radio, brings over a decade of rich experience in sports journalism to the esteemed Joy Sports platform.

His arrival is anticipated to further elevate Joy Sports’ standing as a premier sportainment destination not only in Ghana but across Africa.

Atsu Tamakloe expressed his excitement about joining the Joy Sports family, emphasizing his eagerness to contribute to the tradition of creating value for audiences and advertisers.

“I have great admiration for the team at Joy. Gary, Fent, Muftawu, Sitso, and Dani have quite the reputation and the body of work to back it.

And I respect Nathaniel Attoh for being able to sustain excellence for this long,” Atsu remarked, highlighting his respect for the experienced team at Joy Sports.

Starting his sports broadcasting career at Melody FM in Takoradi, Atsu Tamakloe has left his mark at various media outlets, including Radio Maxx, Skyy Power FM, and Asaase Radio.

His role as the sports segment presenter on the Asaase Breakfast Show and host of ‘Team Talk’ earned him recognition for his sharp analysis and keen eye for unexplored story angles.

Gary Al-Smith, Head of Sports at Joy Brands, expressed enthusiasm about having Victor Atsu Tamakloe on board, emphasizing the commitment of the management to recruit top talent for the team’s ambitious goals.
