19 players have arrived in Charlotte to begin preparation for upcoming friendlies against Mexico and USA.

19 players have arrived in Charlotte to begin preparation for upcoming  friendlies against Mexico and USA.

To start getting ready for the upcoming international friendly against Mexico and the USA, 19 players have landed in Charlotte.

As part of the preparation for the opening match against Mexico, the team practiced at the Charlotte FC training facility on Tuesday night. They included, Richard Ofori, Abdul Manaf Nurudeen, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Alidu Seidu, Kingsley Schindler, Nicholas Opoku, Stephan Ambrosius, Gideon Mensah, Joseph Aidoo, Joseph Painstil, Salis Abdul Samed, Antoine Semenyo, Ernest Nuamah, Ransford Konigsdorffer, Jordan Ayew, Elisha Owusu, Inaki Williams, Edmund Addo and Thomas Partey.

In Charlotte, the players trained for an hour in preparation for the opening match against Mexico on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

Prior to the FIFA World Cup qualifiers, head coach Chris Houghton will evaluate his team using the results of the two games.
