Kwaebibirem United Football Club issue and apology letter to the Eastern Regional Football and the general football community

The Eastern Regional FA has received an unequivocal apology from Asuom-based Kwaebibirem United FC for the unsportsmanlike conduct that derailed their opening contest in the ongoing Mampong Akuapem Socaloca Middle League on Monday, June 12, 2023.

As a result, the squad can no longer call Mampong Park their home field.

The club apologized for the transgression in a letter to the Eastern Regional Football Association and the general football community, and it promised its thronging supporters that it would not happen again during the club’s remaining games in a post on its official Facebook page.

Some fans mistreated the referee after the end of the game, believing “the referee’s open bias and poor refereeing against Kwaebibirem United Football Club during the aforementioned match led them to their defeat” Kwaebibirem lose the game by 1-0 to Victory FC
