On Thursday, October 12, 2023, the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Cote d’Ivoire 2023 Final Draw will be hosted by international music sensation AKON.
At the stunning, brand-new Parc Des Expositions site in Abidjan, the Final Draw will begin at 19:00 local time/GMT (21:00 CAT, 22:00 Cairo), and it will be streamed live on CAF TV (YouTube).
The ‘Akon Lighting Africa’ project, started by the Senegalese singer-songwriter who is also a social crusader and a great football enthusiast, aims to employ solar energy to help African nations meet their basic electricity demands.
The Final Draw, which will be hosted by AKON and Touré, will be an eagerly awaited, glittery, and glamorous event where the 24 qualified nations will learn who their group stage opponents will be.
Millions of people are anticipated to watch the Final Draw on CAF’s Official YouTube channel and other CAF Global TV partners, which will be broadcast in over 50 countries.
The largest event to ever take place on African territory will return for a 34th time in Cote d’Ivoire from 13 January to 11 February 2024.

Algeria, Angola, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Congo DR, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, and Zambia are among the countries who are participating in the conference as hosts.
