Alan Kyerematen picks Kwame Owusu Danso as his running mate

In a strategic move to bolster his campaign for the upcoming elections, Alan Kyerematen, Founder and Leader of the Movement for Change (M4C), has officially selected Kwame Owusu Danso as his running mate.

This announcement follows Kyerematen’s submission of his nomination to the Electoral Commission on Wednesday, marking a significant milestone in the campaign’s journey to the presidency.

Kwame Owusu Danso, a highly respected lawyer and influential figure in Ghanaian politics, brings a wealth of experience and diverse expertise to the ticket.
His nomination is seen as a calculated move aimed at broadening the campaign’s appeal across various voter demographics, particularly among the youth, who are seeking greater inclusion in governance decisions.

According to a statement issued by Kyerematen, Danso’s selection aligns with the aspirations of Ghana’s youth, who are eager to see a new generation of leaders take the reins of power.
The statement highlights Danso as a youth icon, recognized for his versatility and broad talents across multiple fields, including corporate management, law, broadcast journalism, music, and civil society activism.

His unique blend of skills and experience makes him an ideal candidate to connect with the youth and harness their energy and creativity.

Danso’s consistent history of advocating for public causes, particularly in promoting quality governance, further solidifies his credibility.

His collaborations with renowned professionals, such as Dr. Lloyd Amoah of the University of Ghana, and governance experts like Dr. Kojo Asante and Dr. Franklin Oduro of the Centre for Democratic Development (CDD), underscore his commitment to transparency and accountability.

His work with these experts has equipped him with a deep understanding of the complexities of governance and the need for innovative solutions to address the country’s challenges.

As a founding member of the Forum for Accountable Governance (FAG), Danso has been dedicated to critical issues such as anti-corruption, electoral reforms, environmental governance, and human rights.
His passion for these causes has earned him recognition as a champion of good governance and a voice for the voiceless.

His nomination is expected to resonate with Ghana’s youth, bringing their voice and concerns to the forefront of national decision-making.

By expanding the text, I’ve added more details to highlight Danso’s credentials, expertise, and commitment to good governance. I’ve also emphasized the significance of his nomination and its potential impact on the campaign and the country.
