Management of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club and Coach Seydou Zerbo have this morning mutually agreed to part ways. Coach Abdul Gazale has been tasked to take charge as Acting Head Coach, club’s official handles confirms.
This comes a day after their 0-2 loss to Medeama SC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Asante Kotoko currently sits on the 7th position with 34 points after 22 games with one outstanding game. They’ve won 9, drawn 7 and lost 6. In the those 22 games, they’ve managed to score 28 and conceded 20 goals.
The Ghana Premier League defending champions started the season with hopes of retaining the title but it seems the their performances under Coach Zerbo is far from bullseye.
The got kicked out of the CAF champions league early this season under Coach Zerbo after they’ve already parted ways with Coach Ogum.
