Former Hasaacas Ladies forward Doris Boaduwaa has hit the ground running a few weeks after signing for Serbian club Spartak Subotica.
Subitica played as hosts to KI Klaksvic in the first round of qualifiers in the Women’s Champions League and produced an emphatic win on home soil, a game Buaduwaa registered her name on the scoring sheet. Slovic struck first after 20 minutes to give Subotica the needed lead.
The hosts continued to dominate possession and had the second goal just 10 minutes after the first. Doris Boaduwaa grabbed the 3rd for her side following a calm finish on the 34th-minute mark, ensuring that her side finished the first with something good for the home fans to cheer about.
Filipovic, Makenzie, Stupar and Uvalin all contributed goals in Subotica’s 7:0 victory. Boaduwaa’s early success with Spartak Subotica suggests that she could be a valuable asset to the team in their pursuit of success in the Women’s Champions League.
