Eden Hazard, who is only 32 years old, has declared his retirement from football.
The Belgian left Real Madrid in the summer of 2023, one year before the end of his contract, and despite numerous rumors, he didn’t sign with any other team.
Hazard struggled with injuries at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu after suffering an injury in his first season at Real Madrid during a Champions League match against PSG in the 2019–20 season. Hazard was never the same after that injury.
After enjoying success with Lille, Chelsea, and the Belgian national team, whom he led to third place at the 2018 World Cup, he announces his retirement.
The footballer announced it on social media by uploading a post in which he gave his reasoning.
