Mr. George Dadzie Jr., vice chairman of the Western Regional Football Association, has said he will not run for chairman.
The astute football official defeated Mr. Jacob Wemegah, in the elections to become the region’s football association’s deputy boss, lasts term, but he has turned down his candidacy for the chairmanship job.
He is stepping aside so that Henry Bright Ansah can run for the position, and SSTVGH.COM can confirm that he is giving Henry Bright Ansah his full support in doing so.
Although he prefers to work in business, he had a deep love for football at a young age and rose to the top of the FC Samartex Supporters Union before founding his Colt team, Nana Ampong Babies, in 2004.
His obsession with developing football potential intensified, and he took part in the creation of the Colt League in the Western Region’s Amenfi West District.
Sam Johnson, a former Hearts of Oak and Black Stars sensation, was developed by the Atomic Rangers, which Mr. George Dadzie’s father founded and owned in the 1980s and 1990s. Mr. George Dadzie was raised in a football family.
Communication specialist Mr. George Dadzie Jr. holds a master’s degree in communication studies. He also has a bachelor’s degree in information technology and a master’s degree in oil and gas resource management.
He served as the Western Region NDC Youth Organiser and the Chairman of the Amenfi West District Football Association, respectively. He held office twice.
