Ghana’s entertainment industry has once again demonstrated its unwavering support for the national team, as two of the country’s biggest music icons, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, have made significant financial contributions toward the Black Stars World Cup fundraising campaign.

Stonebwoy led the charge with a remarkable donation totaling $101,000, comprising $81,000 in cash and an additional $20,000 worth of music rights. His contribution is expected to play a vital role in supporting initiatives aimed at flying Ghanaian fans to the upcoming World Cup tournament.

Not to be outdone, Shatta Wale also made a powerful statement of support by donating $100,000 in cash to the same fundraising committee. His gesture further strengthens the growing momentum behind efforts to ensure strong fan representation at the global showpiece.

The fundraising initiative is focused on mobilizing resources to transport passionate Ghanaian supporters to the World Cup, recognizing the crucial role fans play in boosting team morale on the international stage.

Both artists, known not only for their chart-topping hits but also for their influence and patriotism, have once again proven their commitment to national unity and pride. Their contributions have been widely praised by fans and stakeholders alike, with many describing the move as a powerful example of how sports and entertainment can come together for a common cause.

As preparations for the World Cup intensify, the support from high-profile figures like Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale is expected to inspire more individuals and corporate bodies to contribute to the cause, ensuring that the Black Stars enjoy the backing of a vibrant and visible Ghanaian fan base on the world stage.
