Joeboy, the stage name of Nigerian artist Joseph Akinfenwa Donus, has admitted that over the past two years, he has spent close to 50 million Naira ($109,000) on his girlfriend.

This information was provided in a recent interview by the 26-year-old artist with The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos.

The singer of “Alcohol” claimed that his estimate might not be true and that it might actually be far higher.

Joeboy disclosed that he is in a serious relationship and likes to spoil his significant other.

“That was only a ballpark figure. At least N50m, I said. I’m not sure for sure. Since I’m not counting, there might be more. My girlfriend must take pleasure in it. I’m having fun too,” he added.

American superstars Ludacris, BNXN, and Odumodublvck made cameo appearances on the singer’s most recent album, “Body & Soul.”
