Hon. Emelia Arthur, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate in the Shama Constituency, has promised a lifetime scholarship to two excellent football players from the Shama District.
Hon. Emelia Arthur confirmed to SSTVGH.COM that she will provide the two excellent young footballers with the greatest education possible through the scholarship at the 3rd Edition of Shama District Football Association Awards Night on 5th August, 2023.
The two young footballers are Godwin Acquah of Aboadze Young Ajax Babies who earned the overall best U 10 player of the year, and Emmanuel Sanful of Unicorn Babies who also got the overall best U 13 player of the season.
The former DCE and Regional Deputy Minister was invited as a special guest to the occasion and watched the young exceptional footballers during the awards presentation and has chosen to look after them till they achieve any level in their educational life.
