To help boost the morale, and to motivate the players of SC Medeama, the Tarkwa Community Mining has taken charge to sponsor the “Medeama Player Of The Month” award.
This initiative started in the year 2023, and being the first to win is the young centre back, Nurudeen Abdulai, who has won the fir the month of January.

He was awarded with 32 inch LED TV after their matchday 18 encounter on 17th February against Legon Cities, which he scored their goal in the afternoon. Medeama eventually won with 2-0 scoreline.

Nurudeen Abdulai competed with Vincent Atingah and skipper, Kwasi Donsu.
The young centre back has 2 goals and 4 MOTM to his name this season so far.
