On Friday, October 27, the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League begins.

The opening weekend of the 2023–24 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League is set for Friday, October 27, through Sunday, October 30, 2023.

The premier League features twenty clubs, with ten clubs in each of the two Zones, the Southern and Northern.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies, the current champions, will try to win a record-breaking third straight championship, while Hasaacas Ladies, who are headquartered in Sekondi, want to recapture a crown they have already lost to the champions twice in a row.

While Sea Lions and Jonina Ladies compete in the Southern Zone after qualifying for the League’s upcoming season, Fosu Royal Ladies and Kumasi Sports Academy are eligible to play in the Northern Zone.

Malta Guinness is the Women’s Premier League’s proud sponsor, and Max TV, Nasco Electronics, Betway, Woodin, and Decathlon also contribute.
