Christopher William Gerard Hughton 64, has been appointed as the new head coach for the Black Stars by the Ghana Football Association.
This comes after Otto Addo left the office after the 2022 world cup in Qatar which Ghana couldn’t qualify out of their group which had Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
Chris Hughton was part of the technical team that took the Black Stars to the 2022 world cup as the technical advisor.
Chris Hughton, the former boss for Newcastle and Brighton will now be assisted by Mas-Ud Didi Dramani and George Boateng.
Details of their contracts are yet to be announced.
Chris Hughton, who was very influential to get Tariq Lamptey and other abroad raised players to play for the Black Stars prior to the 2022 FIFA World Cup already had section of Ghanaians rooting for him.
