Section of Medeama sporting club supporters stormed Akoon Park early morning of January 30, 2023, to show their grievances towards the coach, Abdul Rabi Umar, after losing to Accra Hearts Of Oak in matchday 14.
Medeama SC trained in the early hours on Monday, January 30, at the Akoon Park with the gates closed.
However, the fans managed to get over the wall to enter the park just to make their fury known to the coach for the poor form the team have had in recent games. Management heard words about this earlier so they quickly got there to cool tempers.
Coach Abdul Rabi Umar who took over after Coach David Duncan was sacked following his poor start to the season has also failed to meet the expectations of the fans.
Meanwhile, the fans have given coach Abdul Rabi Umar, the King Faisal game in matchday 15 on Wednesday,February 1st, to save his job.
Medeama currently sits 13th on the league table with just 5 wins out of 14 games.
They have drawn 2 and lost 4 and have just won 1 in their last 4 games.

Medeama suffered their recent defeat in the hands of Premier League giant, Accra Hearts Of Oak, on January 28, and have just picked 1 win in their last 4 games.
After their defeat to Accra Hearts Of Oak, the coach was escorted by police after the fans got infuriated.
Medeama are also out of the FA cup and this counts to the grievances of the fans.
