Accra Hearts Of Oak fans are not happy with the dealings of some management members and have called on the top hierarchy to axe some of them.
Few months ago, wife of goalkeeper Richard Attah came out with serious allegations about some management members who planned the failure of their erstwhile coach, Samuel Boadu.
According to the wife of the goalkeeper, the men she labelled “Aki and Pawpaw” asked the referee to award a penalty against Hearts Of Oak in their encounter against Kotoko in 2021/2022 GPL game.
Just recently, another audio hit social media which a voice purported to be that of current coach, Slavko Matic’s driver, is heard saying, “the coach don’t get to select his players for games, some management members interferes in player selections.
Former coach, Kosta Papic, before leaving Hearts Of Oak warned that, any coach that will come to the team will struggle if management continues to interfere in player selections.
One could say all this have piled up in the minds of the fans and have riled them up as they keep demanding the sacking of some management members especially Alhaji Akambi and Vincent Odotei Sowah.
Speaking on this, Dr. Nyaho – Tamakloe, who’s a board member of the team had this for the fans;
“Look at the projects Hearts is doing, Kotoko does not come close but you won’t hear their fans agitating and demanding the sack of management members but Hearts Of Oak fans likes doing that a lot.”
“Hearts of Oak is a bigger club compared to Asante Kotoko and the records are there. What stops them from writing to the board to express their worries? The board are always ready to welcome their suggestions and criticisms from the fans but not to go on the radio to demand the sacking of a management member.”
“Any supporter who is tired of supporting can leave,” he told Asempa FM.
