Member of Parliament for Tarkwa-Nsuaem constituency and Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. George Mireku Duker has revealed in an interview that, Tarkwa based Premier League side Medeama SC will play a highly profiled foreign team to commission the Tarkwa Stadium.
According to the MP, the 10,000 capacity stadium being built under the auspices of GoldFields will be commissioned this year (2023).
He further stated, the stadium has underground facilities.
The stadium (formerly known and operated as Tarkwa TnA park) is yet to be completed though, but the Hon. Deputy Minister affirmed it will be commissioned this year in an interview on Adom TV.
