The Ghana Police Service has arrested one more suspect in connection with the violent disturbances that marred the Ghana Premier League match between Nsoatreman FC and Kumasi Asante Kotoko FC on February 2, 2025.

The latest arrest involves Elizabeth Akosua Ntiriwaa, also known as “Akosua Black Chinese.” She is now in police custody and assisting with ongoing investigations.

This brings the total number of arrested suspects to six, as the police continue their intelligence-led operation to track down all those involved in the violent clashes, which resulted in the tragic death of a Kotoko supporter.

The Ghana Police Service has reiterated its commitment to ensuring that all perpetrators of the incident are brought to justice as part of broader efforts to curb hooliganism in Ghanaian football.
