Sweden is now making it a sport in a world when so many nations forbid discussing sex in public. The Swedish Sex Federation will host the first European Sex Championship on June 8.
Participants in the Championship will compete for six hours each day over the course of several weeks. The participants will reportedly have 45 to an hour to spend with their matches or activities.
Regarding the competitors, there are currently 20 applicants for the Championship from various nations. Three juries and audience voting will be used to select the winners. Participants can receive between 5 and 10 points for each discipline. Seduction, oral sex, penetration, appearance, body massages, discovering erotic zones, position adjustments, creative use of positions, number of orgasms, and endurance are among the 16 disciplines in which the competitors will compete.
The European Sex Championship welcomes competitors of any gender and sexual orientation since it supports diversity. The organizers have emphasized the potential strategic value of sexual orientation in this sport, which they hope will eventually be adopted by other European nations.
A first for European nations, according to the competition’s organizer, is the inclusion of sexual orientation in sporting strategies. The Swedish Federation of Sex’s president, Dragan Bratych, stated that he thought sex would eventually be recognized as a sport. He emphasized the potential for sexual engagement to promote both physical and mental well-being and the need of training.
“Like any sport, getting the outcomes you want in sex involves practice. So it only seems sense that individuals will begin to compete in this field as well,” Bratych told the reporters.
