Anthony Martial’s injury-plagued season has come to an end, as he will miss the FA Cup final due to a hamstring issue.

The French forward injured his hamstring during Sunday’s 2-1 victory against Fulham, and testing revealed that he had torn a muscle.
Marcus Rashford, United’s 30-goal leading scorer, might play as a center forward against Manchester City at Wembley without Anthony Martial, who has nine goals this season.
The second option open to manager Erik ten Hag is Wout Weghorst, who has only scored twice throughout his loan period and hasn’t scored in his last 15 appearances.
The first-choice striker for Ten Hag this season, Martial has only started 17 of their 61 games across all competitions and has only scored twice in his past 12 outings.
He did, however, score twice as a substitute against City in October’s 6-3 loss for United at the Etihad Stadium.
Ten Hag’s main goal in the summer transfer market is to sign a centre-forward because to doubts regarding Martial’s fitness.

With Ten Hag predicting that the Brazilian winger will “probably” be fit, United is also waiting to see if Antony will recover from an ankle injury in time.
